Noel: I don't think that anyone here will give you legal advice. Best to ask your own attorney. That way you get the right info direct from the horse's mouth. Stan

Randy, looks incredible. Do you guys own the property and plan to develop it or are you brokering the lots and future homes for the owner? I'll be down in Jan. and would like to set up a time to view. Do you take deposits to hold? Thanks, Dave

It's really up to you whether you choose to have a CR drivers license. I have been stopped several times at random check points and it was never an issue. Also, if an officer hints that you can pay him or her a small fee not to have a ticket issued, don't do it. Fines are usually only a couple of dollars and can be paid at various locations.

CR Driver's License « Result #8 on Dec 10, 2009, 2:25pm »
Randy or anyone.
At what point does one need a Costa Rica driver's license? I believe you can drive up to three months with a foreign license, but I've also been advised that because we now have property and a car registered in my name, that the police would want to see a CR driver's license. I also understand that it's a rubber stamp so no big deal, but it's another trip to San Jose. Tks Rob
